This free PNGTuber maker turns your art into a mic-reactive avatar — like a PNGTuber or a lightweight VTuber, without a webcam or a Live2D model. Upload a mouth-closed and a mouth-open image and your avatar swaps and bounces when you speak. Add multiple expressions and switch them with a click or a number-key hotkey, turn on auto-blink and idle breathing so it feels alive even when you're quiet, then fine-tune the motion, size, position, rotation, flip, shadow, glow and background. Save your setup as a preset and reload it any time. Your mic and images never leave your device.
How to use your PNGTuber in OBS
Upload your images, press Start microphone and talk to test the reaction. Adjust the sensitivity and hold time so the mouth opens when you speak and rests when you're quiet. When you're happy, click Clean view and add this browser window to OBS with a Window Capture. For a transparent avatar, set the background to Green screen and add a Chroma Key filter in OBS to remove the green.
Expressions & hotkeys
Add expressions like happy, angry or surprised, each with its own mouth-closed and mouth-open images. Click an expression chip to switch, or press the matching number key (1–9) live on stream. Give each one an optional Blink image (eyes closed) for auto-blink, and an optional Wide-open image that shows when you get loud.
No art? Start with the default
A built-in mascot reacts, blinks and breathes right away, so you can try everything before making your own. When you're ready, export two PNGs per expression — one idle, one with the mouth open — and upload them. Transparent PNGs work best.
Frequently asked questions
How does the PNGTuber react to my voice?
It listens to your microphone in the browser and measures how loud you are. When you speak above the sensitivity threshold, it shows your mouth-open image and bounces; when you're quiet, it shows the mouth-closed image and can auto-blink.
Can it animate the mouth on a single photo?
No — it can't detect or open a mouth on one picture. You provide two versions of your character: one with the mouth closed and one with the mouth open. The mic simply switches between your two images. If you upload only one image, the avatar still reacts with a motion (bounce, bob, squash or tilt), but the mouth won't change until you add a second image.
How do expressions and hotkeys work?
Add as many expressions as you like, each with its own images. Switch by clicking the expression chip or pressing its number key (1–9). It's perfect for reacting live — happy, angry, surprised — without touching your mouse.
Do my presets and images get uploaded?
No. Presets are saved only in your own browser, and your microphone and images never leave your device.
How do I get it into OBS?
Click Clean view and add the browser window to OBS as a Window Capture. For transparency, use the Green screen background plus a Chroma Key filter in OBS.
